Echpochmak without yeast

Gorgeous pastries - appetizing, fragrant, just yummy! Echpochmak is an invention of Tatar cooks. This pastry resembles Russian pies, but still a little different and looks more colorful to me. Try it and draw your conclusions :)

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 40 min

1. Prepare the filling:

- peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes;

- we wash the meat, dry it with paper towels, cut it into small cubes so that they are commensurate with the potatoes;

- peel the onion, cut into cubes (as small as possible);

- combine all the ingredients in one bowl, add pepper, salt, dill seeds and mix everything.

2. Knead the dough:

- sift the flour into a bowl with a slide, make a small depression in the center;

- break eggs, put sour cream, add melted butter and salt;

- knead the soft dough.

3. We form echpochmaks:

- divide the dough into 20 pieces;

- we roll out each piece into a thin layer of a round shape;

- we spread the filling in the center;

- pinch in such a way as to get a pie in the shape of a triangle.

4. Spread the echpochmaki on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
