Napoleon classic with condensed milk

Thin cakes and condensed milk - what could be tastier?! "Napoleon" I remember since childhood, as it was prepared very often. At that time there was no such abundance of recipes and all sorts of kitchen gadgets. But the cake originally from childhood has not lost its relevance today. "Napoleon" still remains on top, thanks to its excellent taste qualities. I share my favorite recipe for its preparation.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 9 h 30 min

Break the eggs into a glass, add sugar and salt, pour in water and vinegar. Mix it up.

Pour the flour onto the work surface, spread the butter, pre-chop it into small cubes and use a knife to chop the butter with flour, turning it into crumbs.

Collect the resulting flour crumbs into a slide, make a small depression in the center, pour in the egg mixture in parts, knead the dough. The finished dough is rolled into a ball and sent to the refrigerator for an hour and a half.

We divide the cooled dough into 9-10 equal parts, and again we send it to the refrigerator for an hour.

Softened butter is combined with condensed milk, kneaded until completely homogeneous.

We spread each ball of dough on parchment paper, roll it out into a thin layer, put a dish-pattern on top and cut out an even circle on it. Throughout the cake, we make frequent punctures with a fork and send it to a baking sheet, bake at a temperature of 220 degrees for 5-7 minutes (we bake the trimmings together with the cake, they will come in handy at the end).

We assemble the cake, smearing each cake with cream. We chop the baked scraps with our hands or a rolling pin and decorate the surface of the cake with them.

"Napoleon" needs time to soak. We send it to the refrigerator for 4-5 hours.

We serve the cake on the table and enjoy the wonderful taste!
