Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Cookie preparation begins with the fact that the eggs are lightly whipped with a whisk with sugar
Step 2:
Add soda and salt, and then melted and cooled margarine. Mix, add flour and knead the dough. Then we put it in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.
Step 3:
Pour boiling water over the poppy, close it and let it swell for 30 minutes. After this time, if not all the water has been absorbed, then the rest of the water must be removed and sugar added to the poppy.
Step 4:
Take the dough out of the refrigerator. Roll it out on the table, lightly sprinkled with flour in a layer 0.7-0.8 mm thick and cut out the cookies.
Step 5:
We spread the cookies on a sheet lined with baking paper. In the center of each cookie, we make a small recess and put a little poppy in it and put seeds on top of the poppy.
Step 6:
Smear the edges of the cookies with beaten egg. We send cookies to the oven for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 190-200 degrees.
