Cooking method

Cooking time: 3 h

Let's start cooking this fun and original delicacy with a sponge cake. All ingredients should be at room temperature.

Sift flour, mix it with baking powder. Put the butter in a bowl, add powdered sugar and whisk well. Add the egg to the bowl and whisk again. Put the second one, continue whipping.

Add vanilla extract to the bowl, stir the mixture. Now you need to gradually pour the flour with baking powder, then pour the milk. Beat the dough again at low speed.

Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil, pour the dough into it and put it in a preheated 170 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. Check the readiness of the biscuit with a toothpick.

Remove the finished biscuit from the oven, let it cool, then crumble it.

Now let's prepare the cream. Melt the white chocolate in a water bath, mix with mascarpone cheese. Mix the biscuit crumbs well with the resulting cream, form a large ball, wrap in plastic wrap and put in the freezer for 15 minutes.

When this time has passed, take out a biscuit, divide it into equal parts and roll balls about the size of a walnut from each. Grease a small baking sheet with vegetable oil, put the balls on it. Put the baking sheet in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Let's move on to decorating cake pops. While the blanks are in the freezer, take a white chocolate bar, break it into pieces and put it on a water bath to melt.

Take the balls out of the freezer, use one of the sticks prepared in advance to make a hole in each of them to about the middle. Now lower each stick into the melted chocolate and stick it into the hole in the ball.

Put the future cake pops in the freezer for 15 minutes. This is necessary so that the chocolate freezes well and the cake pops do not fall off the sticks while we turn them into New Year's cockerels.

Now we dip each sponge ball into melted white chocolate and put it vertically until it solidifies. For example, you can stick them in an inverted colander, foam, cardboard box.

While the chocolate is not frozen, we form scallops, beaks, and cockerel earrings from a sprinkle of red (in the form of hearts). With the help of balls, we create eyes. To make the cake pops freeze faster, put them in a cool place.

You can prepare this delicacy a little in advance - it is perfectly stored in the refrigerator.
