Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare all the ingredients
Step 2:
Separate the whites from the yolks
Step 3:
Whisk the proteins first with a pinch of salt into a thick foam. It takes me about 5 minutes.
Step 4:
Then add the yolks, baking powder, sugar and mix well.
Step 5:
Without ceasing to churn, gradually add flour. It is better to replace the corollas with dough blades - this way it gets in the way better. The dough should have the same consistency as pancakes.
Step 6:
Grease the cake pan with margarine and sprinkle with flour.
Step 7:
Pour the dough into a baking dish and insert it into a preheated oven to 170-180 degrees. Bake for 40-50 minutes.
Step 8:
Cut the biscuit into 3-4 pieces.
Step 9:
Prepare lemon cream. First you need to scald the lemons with boiling water. Wipe the skin off the lemons on a fine grater and squeeze out the juice.
Step 10:
Pour water into a saucepan, give margarine, lemon skins, sugar and bring to a boil. Pour in lemon juice and potato starch, previously diluted in a small amount of cold water, stirring constantly so that lumps do not form.
Step 11:
When the cream takes the consistency of thick jelly, let it boil for a few seconds and remove from heat.
Step 12:
Smear the sponge cake with still warm cream.
Step 13:
A smeared cake can be decorated with coconut shavings. It turns out very tasty. But I didn't have coconut chips and I poured chocolate fudge on the cake))).
Step 14:
To prepare the fudge, put margarine, sugar, cocoa in a saucepan and add water. Stirring constantly, cook over low heat for about 7 minutes. If the fudge turns out to be very clear or sparse, add more cocoa.
Step 15:
Cool the fudge. It is advisable to stir from time to time so that a crust does not form.
Step 16:
Smear the cake with fudge and let it soak for several hours. Bon appetit)).
