Chocolate cupcake with cherries and nuts

A semi-aesthetic version of a chocolate treat. The recipe was adapted by me through the use of less high-calorie foods. In the original, the dough and filling are laid out in layers, but next time I would just mix the ingredients before sending them to the oven. The dough is dense and the filling will not settle.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 55 min
1. Mix pitted cherries with sugar (1 tbsp.spoon) and cinnamon and send to a sieve to drain the juice.
2. Beat the soft curd with the remaining sugar at medium speed of the mixer. Continuing to beat, add one egg, a little vanilla, zest and olive oil. Without turning off the mixer, add flour with baking powder and cocoa. Knead the dough.
3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Put part of the dough in a silicone mold, cherry on top, dough again, then nuts - so alternate according to the amount of filling. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes.
4. Check readiness with a match, it should be dry. Decorate the cooled cupcake at your discretion: powdered sugar or chocolate icing.
