Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 50 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

To start, take 50 g of butter, 3 tablespoons of sugar and oat flakes.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Melt butter and sugar in a frying pan.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Add oat flakes and fry until golden brown, stir from time to time.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

While the flakes are frying, chop the cranberries.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

These are the flakes you get.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Now beat the remaining 150 g of butter with powdered sugar.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Add egg, vanilla tincture and milk, beat again until smooth.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Sift flour with baking powder and add to the oil mixture. It is better not to add all the flour at once, set aside half a glass and, if necessary, add it at the very end of the dough kneading.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Mix cranberries with 1/3 of oat flakes and add to the dough.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Mix everything, if the dough is still too sticky, add the remaining flour.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Roll small balls out of the dough and roll in the remaining toasted flakes. I got about 30 pieces, but you can do more. We spread the cookies at a distance from each other, in the oven they will slightly increase and float a little. So that the cookies lose their shape less during baking, then put the formed cookies in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before baking (I send them to the freezer for 10 minutes, during this time I just warm up the oven).

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Bake cookies at 180 C for about 15-20 minutes, they should turn golden.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

Let the liver cool down and serve with tea. Bon appetit!
