How to bake Spanish cupcakes - Magdalenas ?They are prepared very easily and quickly! To begin with, we heat the butter (I do it in the microwave) and leave it to cool down a little. While the butter is cooling, sift the flour with baking powder, add sugar, vanilla sugar or vanilla and a pinch of salt, mix everything. Add two eggs and milk to the cooled butter, mix everything until smooth. Pour the flour mixture into the oil mixture and mix thoroughly.
Now we add our cherries to the dough, pre-squeezed from the juice. Mix everything carefully. We distribute the finished dough into molds and bake in a preheated 180 - 190 C oven until ready, about 25 - 30 minutes. We check the readiness with a wooden skewer, when punctured in the middle of the cake, it should come out dry. We take the finished cupcakes out of the oven, let them cool down and serve them to the table. Before serving, cupcakes with cherries can be sprinkled with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
