Preparing the dough. Knead it in a bowl, combining yeast with sugar, salt, vanilla, flour and vegetable oil (any vegetable) and diluting it all with water. We knead conscientiously so that the dough becomes dense and elastic enough.
Fill another bowl with poppy seeds, soaking them in boiling water. After cooling, we transfer the poppy to a sieve. We put the sieve under the tap. We leave it to dry, and when it dries, we transfer it to a more suitable container. Add washed raisins with starch to it. Mix it up.
Divide the dough in two and roll out both parts. We spread the poppy filling on both leaves, distributing it over the entire surface. Wrap them up. We leave it to rise for an hour. We put it in the oven and set the heating to 180 degrees. We are waiting until the poppy seed roll is ready.
