Step-by-step cooking
We have apples at home all year round. In autumn we harvest a large crop and put them in the cellar for storage. And in winter we constantly cook compote and bake pies. In search of other culinary recipes, I came across this wonderful apple cake, which is called a "Trinket". It is very easy and fast to prepare. I liked it and I advise you to try it.
Take the butter and rub it with sugar and egg yolks. You should get a very lush mass. Next, add sour cream, mixed soda and flour to it. As a result, you should get a thin dough. Pour it into the prepared pan and bake until ready. At this time, peel the apples, cut them into slices and lower them into boiling syrup for 3 minutes. After the cake is baked, take it out, cool it. Put the apples on it and pour the whipped whites. Do not turn off the oven completely at this time, but leave a small fire. Put the prepared cake in it for 15 minutes to brown the whites. It tastes better if this food is eaten warm. Bon appetit!
