Breaded cauliflower in a skillet
A wonderful vegetable dish with a flavor you'll remember. Today I'm sharing the tastiest breaded fried cauliflower. The florets come out tender inside with a crisp, golden crust outside.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Gather the ingredients. To make breaded cauliflower in a skillet, you'll need: 500 g cauliflower; 80 g breadcrumbs; 1 large egg; 3 tablespoons vegetable oil; ground black pepper; salt.
-
Step 2:
Wash and dry the cauliflower and break it into florets. Cut large florets into 2–3 pieces and leave the small ones whole.
-
Step 3:
Boil the florets in boiling salted water for about 2 minutes.
-
Step 4:
Then drain the cauliflower in a colander and let the water run off.
-
Step 5:
Crack an egg into a bowl, add salt and pepper, and beat it thoroughly.
-
Step 6:
Dip the cauliflower florets in the beaten egg, coating them on all sides.
-
Step 7:
Then roll each floret in breadcrumbs on all sides. To coat them evenly, you can put the florets in a plastic bag, pour in the breadcrumbs, tie the bag, and give it a good shake.
-
Step 8:
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet. Add the cauliflower and fry, stirring, until golden and crisp, about 10–15 minutes.
-
Step 9:
Transfer the cauliflower to a plate and serve with any sauce, sour cream, or ketchup. Enjoy!
