Step-by-step cooking
To make a Lady's Fingers cake according to this recipe, you need to put a small saucepan on the stove, pour 1.5 cups of water there and put butter (you can use margarine if you don't have butter). As soon as our mixture of water and oil begins to boil, pour 1.5 cups of sifted wheat flour into it, and stir continuously. Then we cool the resulting dough, when our dough is warm enough in turn, we break the eggs there, after each egg we beat the dough with a mixer. After that, grease the baking sheet with butter or margarine. Then preheat the oven to 180C. We put our dough in oblong sausages on a baking sheet and bake it in the oven until it is ready.
While our dough is baking, we make a cream. Beat the sour cream with a mixer and pour out the granulated sugar there, and beat at full power of the mixer until a thick cream is obtained. We take the finished "fingers" out of the oven and let them cool down. After that, we dip each finger in the cream and put it on the dish with a woodpile. Sprinkle cocoa on top of the resulting woodpile or decorate with melted chocolate. Such delicious food will please all members of your family. Have a nice tea party!
