Julien Original in meat baskets

An interesting dish for a festive table. The idea of this dish was born to me a long time ago. The husband loves Julien. But always, while eating it, he asked:"Why is there no Julienne with meat?"Yes, there is such a recipe! But chicken meat is used there, and my husband likes chicken only in the form of a grill. Therefore, in order to please my husband, and not to spend a lot of time on cooking, I used minced meat.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Necessary products. We will also need metal cupcake molds. You can make the stuffing yourself, you can use ready-made. I had ground beef. In the finished minced meat, add egg, salt-pepper, breadcrumbs and mix well.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

We distribute the minced meat into portion cupcake molds, greased with oil (I additionally insert baking paper inside), forming baskets, and put them in a preheated oven to 190 degrees for 20 minutes. A little secret-the molds should be filled with a large supply of minced meat at the top, because during cooking it will shrink.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

At this time, finely chop the onion, fry it in a frying pan in a mixture of vegetable and butter, add finely chopped mushrooms and fry together with the onion until the liquid evaporates.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Then sprinkle the mushrooms with flour,

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Mix, add sour cream, cream, soy sauce, mix again, and cook on low heat under the lid for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. DO NOT SALT !!!

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

We take the stuffed baskets out of the oven and, without removing them from the molds, fill them with mushroom filling. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and put it back in the oven until the cheese melts and a golden crust forms.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

We take out our baskets, carefully release them from the paper (carefully! don't get burned!) and we serve it to the table. Yummy!!! Bon appetit!
