Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Preparing the cream. Separate the egg yolks and mix them with sugar, then add coconut chips, flour and hot milk. As you add everything, mix thoroughly. Now turn on the stove, make medium heat. We cook our cream on it until it thickens. Then we cool it and put it in the refrigerator (preferably overnight).
Step 2:
In the morning, you can proceed directly to the preparation of the basis of our cookies. Beat the softened butter with a mixer. Add powdered sugar and whisk again. Then we introduce the yolks, baking powder and cocoa. Once again, whisk everything together. After that, we introduce flour a little bit at a time. This time we knead it with our hands. We will form a sausage from the resulting dough, which we will then wrap in plastic wrap.
Step 3:
Leave it in the freezer (approximately 30 minutes). After a while, we will take the sausage out of the refrigerator. Cut it into circles.
Step 4:
Now heat the oven to 180 degrees. And bake the circles in it for 10 minutes.
Step 5:
When the cookies cool down, apply cream on half of the cookies. Cover the top with a second cookie.
Step 6:
Now we are preparing a cream to decorate the top layer. Beat powdered sugar with softened butter. Mix with melted chocolate. Using a pastry syringe, squeeze out the cream on the cookies. Decorate according to your taste.
