Cooking method
Baba ganush is a well–known dish from Arabic cuisine, which is mainly prepared from eggplant pulp mixed with various seasonings. According to this recipe, we wash the eggplants, cut them in half and put them in water. Add a little salt and leave the eggplant for a while. We catch eggplants, dry them on a napkin. Grease the baking sheet with oil or fat and put the eggplants preferably with the pulp down and bake in a preheated oven at 180-200 ° C for about half an hour, i.e. until they become soft. Take out the eggplants and cool them. Then we remove the skin from them and mash them in puree. Crushed walnuts are mixed with chopped garlic and added to eggplants. Then mix cumin with sesame seeds and add them to the eggplant puree. Add paprika and olive oil to the lemon juice, mix and pour into a bowl with mashed potatoes. Mix all these ingredients thoroughly and put the pate in the refrigerator for an hour or two. The total time spent on cooking this meal is 1h 20 minutes. We take the pate out of the refrigerator, put it neatly in saucers and serve it decorated with herbs. Enjoy your meal!
