Step 1:
To prepare waffles in a Soviet waffle maker, you will need: eggs, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla, flour.
Step 2:
Melt butter over low heat, preventing boiling. Cool down a little.
Step 3:
Beat the eggs with a whisk or mixer until smooth and lightly fluffy.
Step 4:
Add sugar to the beaten eggs.
Step 5:
Beat well again.
Step 6:
Pour the slightly warm butter into the egg-sugar mixture. Mix well.
Step 7:
Sift flour with salt and vanilla.
Step 8:
Pour flour into the dough in small portions, stirring at the same time.
Step 9:
Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous dough of medium consistency is formed. The dough should not be thick, so that the waffles turn out thin and crispy. After cooking, the dough should not be maintained, but immediately proceed to baking.
Step 10:
Turn on the waffle iron to warm up. When it is well heated, put about 2 tablespoons of dough in the middle.
Step 11:
Close the lid of the waffle iron, press it well. At this time, steam will come out, so you need to be careful.
Step 12:
Bake the waffle until golden brown. Baking is fast, 15 seconds is enough. The main thing is not to miss the time and not overcook the waffle.
Step 13:
Remove the finished waffle with a spatula, put it on the table and immediately roll it up. It is impossible to delay here, since the waffle instantly cools down and then it will be impossible to twist it.
Step 14:
Bake waffles from all the dough, put on a plate and serve. Enjoy your meal!
A friend reminded me about these waffles, from whom we drank tea with them. The child liked crunching so much that she asked the next day to bake such waffles too. We baked together, my daughter got the most honorable job - putting ready-made waffles on a plate.
Waffles can be filled with cream, for example, from boiled condensed milk and butter. This is, of course, for special sweet tooth). Then the waffles can also be twisted with a cone. From the cream, the waffles will become soft.
Vanillin can be replaced with vanilla sugar (1 tbsp.l.).
