Step 1:
How to put out a turkey thigh in a slow cooker so that it is soft and juicy? Very simple! First, prepare the necessary ingredients. Instead of a turkey thigh, you can take a breast fillet. Kefir can be used of any fat content. A set of spices can be supplemented or replaced to your liking.
Step 2:
Wash the turkey thigh, dry it and cut it into large pieces. If you have not just a fillet, but a thigh with bone and skin, first remove the skin and cut out the bone.
Step 3:
Pour kefir, vegetable oil over the meat, sprinkle with Italian herbs, paprika, salt and pepper. You can replace Italian herbs with Provencal ones.
Step 4:
Mix the meat thoroughly with the marinade and leave to marinate for 1-2 hours at room temperature. If longer, then in the refrigerator.
Step 5:
Put the turkey together with the kefir marinade into the bowl of the slow cooker and close the lid of the appliance.
Step 6:
Set the slow cooker to the "Quenching" mode for 1 hour. The exact time of extinguishing depends on the size of the pieces, as well as on the brand and model of your slow cooker, the temperature at which the meat is stewed.
Step 7:
While the meat is stewing, peel the garlic cloves from the husk and chop finely.
Step 8:
Wash the greens, dry them and also chop them finely.
Step 9:
A couple of minutes before the end of stewing, sprinkle the turkey with chopped garlic and herbs. Bon appetit!
Turkey can be replaced with chicken or any other type of meat at your request. But keep in mind that in this case, the cooking time and calorie content of the dish will change.
Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste!
