Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
A quick dish for dinner will be cooked in a slow cooker of buckwheat with liver. Let's take chicken liver for this dish, it is softer and easy to cook. To prepare a hearty dinner, we will prepare the necessary products: we sort out buckwheat, peel onions and carrots and mine, my chicken liver, remove excess fat. From spices, you can take seasoning for chicken or meat dishes, as well as salt and vegetable oil for frying.
Step 2:
Chop the onion and carrot, three onions on a coarse grater, cut the onion into cubes. Meanwhile, we warm up the vegetable oil in the bowl of the slow cooker, turning it on in the frying mode. We set the time on the slow cooker for 15 minutes.
Step 3:
Put the chopped onions and carrots in a bowl in preheated vegetable oil.
Step 4:
Salt the onion and carrot and sprinkle with seasoning and spices and fry, stirring, for 7 minutes.
Step 5:
While the vegetables are frying, cut the chicken liver into small pieces.
Step 6:
Then spread the chopped liver to the fried onion and carrot.
Step 7:
Mix the liver and vegetables and fry together for another 7 minutes.
Step 8:
Meanwhile, we wash the sorted buckwheat groats.
Step 9:
When the frying program is over, mix the liver and vegetables again and spread the washed buckwheat on them.
Step 10:
Now pour a liter of water into the bowl of buckwheat with liver.
Step 11:
The water should rise about a centimeter and a half above the level of buckwheat. We close the lid of the slow cooker.
Step 12:
Turn on the slow cooker program for cooking pilaf or porridge for 15 minutes.
Step 13:
When the buckwheat with liver is cooked, we release steam from the slow cooker and lift the lid.
Step 14:
Before serving, we mix hot buckwheat with liver in the bowl of a slow cooker, after which we put it on plates.
