Cooking method
It is better to take young cabbage, which has thin leaves without thick veins. Carefully disassemble the cabbage head on a sheet without breaking them. Boil them in salted water for about 4 minutes from the moment it boils. We put the sheets in a plate, let them dry.
Rice is washed to clear water. Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots. Add half of the onion to the finished minced meat. To it, add rice, pepper and salt to taste, mix the filling well. We stuff each cabbage leaf with minced meat and fold it into an envelope.
Prepare the sauce in the slow cooker. Turn on the "frying" program, put butter and tomato paste, onions and carrots and, stirring constantly, fry for about 12 minutes. Put the sauce in a bowl.
Lubricate the bottom of the bowl of the slow cooker with a piece of oil. We put cabbage rolls in it. Fill with water so that it covers them and put the "quenching" program for two hours. Half an hour before the end of the cooking time, add the roast to the cabbage rolls. Serve with sour cream and herbs. Bon appetit!
