After we bought a slow cooker in the house, cooking began to bring me unheard-of pleasure.
I like that kitchen life has become less time-consuming. At the same time, the dishes from the slow cooker are very tasty.
Today I will tell you how to cook stewed cabbage in a slow cooker. For the taste, I add a little meat (of any kind) to the cabbage. It tastes best with veal, but maybe you have different tastes from me.
So, washed cabbage, shred.
We wash the meat and cut it into small pieces.
Grate the peeled carrots on a coarse grater.
Chop the onion finely.
Pour oil into the multivark container and, to begin with, in the "Frying" mode, bring the meat to half-readiness. When the meat begins to brown, we throw the onion.
Then add carrots, pepper and salt and turn off the "Frying" mode.
Mix sour cream with tomato paste. If desired, you can dilute it slightly with water – this is usually necessary if the paste or sour cream is too thick.
We put cabbage in a multivark container, pour the resulting sauce, turn on the "Quenching" mode and cook the cabbage for at least an hour.
If you got a stiff head, then you should increase the cooking time by about twenty minutes.
Cabbage cooked according to this recipe in a slow cooker can be served on the table as a separate second course, as well as with a side dish of potatoes or rice.
