Cooking method

Cooking time: 4 h 15 min

In a capacious bowl, break the chicken eggs, then pour granulated sugar, salt to them and whisk everything together thoroughly with a whisk until a fluffy foam. You can use a mixer for these purposes, but without fanaticism.

In a separate large bowl, sift the wheat flour, and then add the egg-sugar mixture to this flour. Mix everything well.

Melt butter in the microwave (at low power) or on the stove, but do not boil! Pour warm liquid oil into a bowl with flour mixture. We also add milk (water) to the future dough at this stage.

We begin to knead the dough. Knead it until it becomes homogeneous, smooth. elastic. It should stop sticking to your hands. We form a ball from the resulting dough, put it on the bottom of the bowl, tighten the bowl with cling film on top. We put a bowl of dough in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Sprinkle the table with flour, remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide into 4 parts. We roll out each part into a thin pancake. We cut the pancake into thin strips, after which we chop each strip with straws. Ideally, if the dough strips end up being about the same length and thickness - so the chuck-chuck will look more aesthetically pleasing. But this is not necessary. It will still turn out both beautiful and delicious.

We put a deep frying pan with a thick bottom on a high fire, pour vegetable oil and wait for it to get very hot. We don't just sit there - I wash the raisins well, then we put it in a glass or porcelain bowl and pour warm water. Leave for 10 minutes, and then drain the water, rinse the raisins with boiled water and put them on a paper towel to dry. You can blot the raisins on top with paper napkins.

The oil has just heated up - we put part of the dough strips into it. It does not take much for them to be evenly and well gilded. We cook them for 1-3 minutes depending on the size. Thin and small fry very quickly! It is important not to over-fry them. We spread the fried dough with a slotted spoon on a wide dish covered with paper towels that will absorb excess oil. Fry all the dough strips in the same way.

Let the fried dough cool to room temperature, then in a deep bowl mix them with raisins, pour condensed milk. carefully, but carefully, we interfere. Not all condensed milk can be used if you don't want sugary sweets. We form a slide of the mixture on a beautiful flat plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar on top. Let it stand in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Everything is ready and an unusual chuck-chuck can be served to the table!
