Step 1:
How to freeze raspberries for the winter? To do this, we only need the raspberry itself. No additions to it are required. Raspberries will be frozen with whole berries. Choose the freshest, strongest and purest berries without a stalk. Remove the sticks and leaves, if there are any. The ideal option would be raspberries immediately in the bush. Raspberries are tender and do not last long. With this method of freezing raspberries can not be washed. The berries will be saturated with moisture and after defrosting they will spread out.
Step 2:
To freeze, take a tray and cover it with a paper towel. Arrange the selected raspberries. If juice appears anywhere, it will immediately be absorbed into the paper. Otherwise, the juice will freeze when frozen and the berry will have to be torn from the tray. This will damage it. Arrange the berries freely on a tray so that they do not touch and do not lie on top of each other. Put the tray in the freezer for a few hours. It is best to leave it overnight.
Step 3:
Due to the fact that raspberries were originally strong and dry, they do not stick together when frozen and keep their shape. Frozen berries move freely on the tray. Now they can be packaged.
Step 4:
I store frozen berries in plastic containers. But you can also take packages. But years can break down in packages. Place the frozen berries in the prepared container.
Step 5:
Close the lids and put them in the freezer for storage. In this form, the berries are perfectly stored for a long time. They can be used to make compotes, pies, to add to porridges or desserts. Have a nice winter treat!
