To pickle tomatoes quickly, they are pierced with a toothpick. It can be pierced even in several places. This will allow the brine to nourish the vegetables in a short period of time. Tomatoes can be salted in jars, and an enameled saucepan with a lid is also suitable for this purpose. Tomatoes should be ripe, but not overripe. Sugar in this recipe helps to soften the taste of tomatoes. If you want to get a sharper taste, you can not add sugar. Hot Ambassador is one of the fastest ways to cook delicious low-salted tomatoes.
1. Cherry wash under running water, remove the stems. We make sure that no spoiled fruits come across.
2. Each tomato is pierced with a wooden skewer at the attachment point of the peduncle. You can do this with a toothpick.
3. Peel the garlic, cut each clove into a couple of pieces lengthwise. Mint leaves are washed under running water.
4. Lay out the tomatoes in clean jars. In each jar, add garlic and mint leaves, as well as a couple of peas of black pepper.
5. Pour the water into a saucepan, send it to the fire. Bring the water to a boil, then add salt and sugar. Stir until they are completely dissolved.
6. Pour the tomatoes with the resulting brine, cover with lids. Pour immediately, without waiting for it to cool down. This is a hot ambassador.
7. Leave at room temperature for 2-3 hours, until the brine cools completely. After the specified time, tomatoes can already be eaten.
When the brine cools down, we put the jars in the refrigerator. We take out tomatoes as needed.
