Cucumbers with dill and garlic in lime juice in a package

Savory original lightly salted cucumbers for dinner! There is nothing easier! Cucumbers turn out to be stunningly delicious, and most importantly, they are prepared simply and very quickly. There are many variations of this recipe, but I love this one, because lime juice adds special notes to it. These lightly salted cucumbers are well suited for picnics, as well as for a family dinner or even a festive table. The main advice when cooking them is to make a lot of them, as they simply "evaporate" immediately after serving ;)

Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 h 10 min

1. Take cucumbers of small size, wash them, wipe them and cut into 4 parts.
2. Chop the dill and garlic.
3. Squeeze the lime juice.
4. Put cucumbers, dill and garlic in a tight plastic bag, add salt and lime juice.
5. Tie the bag tightly and shake it several times so that the dressing is evenly distributed over the cucumbers.
6. Put the bag in the refrigerator for two hours.
7. Put the cucumbers on a plate and pour the remaining sauce in the bag.

This simple dish goes well with meat dishes, but can also be used as an addition to lean dishes.
