Step 1:
How to make a salad? Prepare all ingredients. Wash the vegetables thoroughly, wipe them with napkins or paper towels. I do not remove the peel from cucumbers, because I immediately pick up such ones with a delicate structure. I have cream tomatoes, but you can take any other ones - we cut them into pieces anyway. The main thing is that they are dense.
Step 2:
Peel sweet peppers from seeds and stems. Cut it and onion into half rings. Choose the thickness of the rings yourself.
Step 3:
Cut tomatoes into large pieces - into quarters or slightly smaller depending on the size of the fruit. Cut the cucumbers into slices.
Step 4:
Sterilize glass jars and lids. At the bottom of each jar, put a bay leaf and a small pinch of dill seeds. You can put a dill umbrella. Be sure to wash the jars and lids very well before sterilization!
Step 5:
Place a layer of chopped onions in jars on top of the spices.
Step 6:
Lay the half rings of sweet pepper, press them with a clean, boiled spoon.
Step 7:
Place the cucumbers in the next layer.
Step 8:
And put the chopped tomatoes on the very top.
Step 9:
Add salt, sugar, vinegar, sunflower oil to each jar. The calculation in the ingredients is given for two half-liter jars, so just divide the specified amount in half.
Step 10:
Pour the contents of the cans with boiling water up to the hangers and put them to be sterilized in a container with hot water, submerging the hangers. Or put it in the microwave for 4 minutes at maximum power.
Step 11:
Twist the jars with sterile lids and turn them over. Send it under a warm blanket until it cools down completely.
This salad will become a real decoration of the festive table, great as an addition to dishes during Lent.
The skin, if it is not rough, not damaged and not bitter, does not need to be cut off.
Choose juicy tomatoes, but dense. Soft fruits do not keep their shape well, in the process of slicing and cooking they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.
