Cooking method
1. Cut the watermelon into slices, peel it, remove the seeds. The pulp is cut in such pieces that they easily pass through the neck of the jar.
2. We sterilize the jar over steam (you can sterilize it in the oven or microwave, as it is more convenient).
3. At the bottom of the jar we put umbrellas of dill, black pepper, peas, fill it with watermelon, pour boiling water, cover with a lid and leave for 20 minutes.
4. After the specified time, we drain the water into a saucepan, add salt and sugar, pour vinegar, send it to the fire, bring it to a boil.
5. Pour the watermelon with boiling marinade, roll up the lid. We turn the jar upside down, wrap it in a blanket, leave it for a day.
It is necessary to store pickled watermelon in a cold room, the cellar is an ideal place.
