Step 1:
To prepare a pill recipe, take a strong, dense cabbage, beetroot, salt, sugar, vinegar, garlic, bay leaf and pepper.
Step 2:
First prepare the marinade, because it will need chilled. Add salt, sugar, spices to the water and at the end pour in the vinegar, boil the mixture for a minute and turn off the stove, let it cool down while you are engaged in cabbage.
Step 3:
Peel the beetroot - it is better to take medium-sized root vegetables, sweet and dense. Cut the beetroot into cubes or plates, as you like.
Step 4:
Peel the cabbage from the cover and green leaves and cut into squares.
Step 5:
In clean jars (it is not necessary to sterilize them), put pieces of cabbage, beets in layers, add garlic, cut into petals.
Step 6:
Fill the contents of the jars with marinade and put in a cool place. You can try it in a couple of days (depends on the size of the cabbage slicing), but it is more reliable in a week: the cabbage will be marinated, soaked with the aroma of bay leaf, garlic, will acquire a pleasant lilac-pink color.
