Cooking method
Let's get down to the "magic" of pickling:
1. Pour water into a large saucepan and put it on fire. When the water boils, we throw the frozen honeydew into it and bring it to a boil again, cook for about 10 minutes.
2. While the mushrooms are cooking, let's do the marinade. Pour water into a saucepan, into which we add vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic cut lengthwise and seasonings if desired (I have pepper, cloves and lavrushka).
3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
4. Drain the water from the boiled honeydew and place them in the marinade, which is still boiling. It is necessary to cook the mushrooms in the marinade for another 10 minutes, after which we turn off the heating and let it cool down.
5. When the honey mushrooms cool down, we move them into clean jars, pour the marinade abundantly and close the lids tightly. We store it in the refrigerator.
In a day the honey mushrooms will be ready and you will be able to enjoy them to your heart's content.
Bon appetit!
