Galma's culinary recipe comes from Tatarstan. This is a very original sweet food that my kids immediately fell in love with. And Tatar galma is prepared quite simply. Melt the butter in a small saucepan, bring it to a boil and boil for 15 minutes on low heat, periodically removing the foam that appears on the surface. After the time has elapsed, we gradually pour the sifted wheat flour into it and, stirring, cook this mass for about half an hour. The mixture should turn dark brown. Remove the pan from the heat and add honey to the mixture. Knead well until a homogeneous consistency. We put the resulting sweet mass into a mold and put it in the refrigerator until its contents harden. The mass layer should not be thicker than 2 cm. You can apply your imagination by adding chopped walnuts, raisins or chopped dried apricots to the sweet mass. After the sweet layer hardens, we take it out of the mold and cut it into small lozenges. It turned out to be a very delicate dessert delicacy that just melts in your mouth. Have a nice tea party!
