Step 1:
How to make a salad with crab sticks cheese and egg? Prepare the products. Both crab sticks and crab meat will go into the salad. If they have been frozen, then pre-defrost them. Take high-quality, natural, delicious cheese, without milk fat substitutes. It is better to choose solid or semi-solid varieties.
Step 2:
Peel the crab sticks from the film and cut into small cubes. The film in which each crab stick is wrapped is sometimes poorly removed. To facilitate the process, hold the sticks over the steam for 1-3 seconds.
Step 3:
Hard-boil the eggs. How to cook hard-boiled eggs? To prevent the eggs from cracking during cooking, put them in cold water and put them on a small fire to cook. Boil the eggs for 9 minutes after boiling, then pour cold water and cool. From a sharp temperature drop, the shell will be better cleaned. Peel the cooled eggs and also cut into medium cubes.
Step 4:
Cut the cheese into small cubes. The salad will look nice and neat if you cut all the ingredients into pieces of the same size and shape (for example, cubes).
Step 5:
Combine crab sticks, eggs and cheese in a salad bowl.
Step 6:
Season the salad with mayonnaise. It is not necessary to salt it, since both mayonnaise and cheese contain enough salt. But still try the salad and decide according to your taste.
Step 7:
Mix the ingredients well and serve the salad to the table. Enjoy your meal!
For more satiety, you can add other ingredients to the salad: canned corn, boiled crumbly rice, fresh cucumber.
And it will turn out even tastier if you replace crab sticks with real crab meat. For example, meat from claws, which can be bought in large hypermarkets and some specialized fish stores.
How to buy crab sticks correctly? Be sure to pay attention to the expiration date of the product. Surimi meat (minced white fish) should appear in the list of ingredients in the first place. Important! Do not buy the product if there is frost on it. This is a sign of repeated freezing. Fresh sticks should be free of gray and yellow spots, elastic and slightly moist. If the product is sticky, it means it is spoiled.
Prepare salads only from fully chilled foods. Cooked from warm, the salad can quickly deteriorate.
