Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients. To prepare pockets of chicken with cheese, we will need: chicken fillet (preferably larger), vegetable oil for frying, ground black pepper and salt.
Step 2:
Wash the chicken fillet, dry it with a paper towel. I also cut off pieces of fat and the film that covers the meat. Cut each fillet lengthwise, but not to the end, trying not to cut through it so that the filling does not leak out, and open it like a book.
Step 3:
Season chicken fillet with salt and pepper inside and out.
Step 4:
Filling. To prepare the filling, we will need cheese, fatty sour cream (from 20% fat content and above) and garlic.
Step 5:
Cut the cheese into medium slices.
Step 6:
Pass the garlic through the press. Combine sour cream with garlic and mix.
Step 7:
Grease the inside of the chicken "pockets" with sour cream and garlic.
Step 8:
Spread the cheese plates on top.
Step 9:
Fold the sides of the pockets, again giving them the appearance of a whole chicken fillet and chip the edges with toothpicks so that the cheese does not leak out when baking.
Step 10:
Breading. To prepare the breading, we will need: breadcrumbs, a large egg, salt.
Step 11:
Beat the egg with salt until smooth.
Step 12:
Pour the breadcrumbs on a flat plate. Dip each chicken fillet in a beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
Step 13:
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken fillet on high heat on both sides until golden brown.
Step 14:
Put the meat in a baking dish lined with parchment and put it in a preheated 180 ° C oven for another 20-25 minutes. If your fillet is very fried, then, so that the breading does not burn when baking, you can cover the mold with foil. Bon appetit!
