Cooking method
Guests on the doorstep? Need a quick and hearty breakfast? A light snack?
Hot sandwiches with rye bread in the microwave are not the worst option! Shall we cook?
We take black bread. Of course, this is not a dogma. Do you like white, yeast-free, wholegrain flour, with bran? It's a matter of taste and preferences - take it!
Personally, I like black bread more in combination with cheese and tomatoes, and preferably with a slight sourness.
Choose ripe tomatoes, moderately dense. Too hard, dryish, immature, as well as over-ripe, spreading, are not suitable. Clean tomatoes are cut into neat circles.
Hard cheese needs fresh, natural. Cut it into thin slices.
We cut the bread into portions, put tomato slices on each, slices of cheese on top.
You can add spices to future sandwiches and sprinkle with ground black pepper, ground paprika on top, for example, Italian or Provencal herbs will give a very interesting taste.
We put the prepared sandwiches on a flat dish and put them in the microwave. At full power, depending on the oven itself, it will take a minute and a half to prepare, or rather to warm up, sandwiches. Watch the sandwiches heat up and as soon as the cheese starts to melt and cover the tomatoes, the sandwiches can be taken out. It is not necessary to bring the cheese to an extreme degree of "melting", although if you like this, cook like this.
We take out the ready-made hot cheese sandwiches from the microwave, quickly decorate them with fresh herbs, if any, and serve them to the table without delay until they cool down. Hot sandwiches are hot enough to eat them as such!
The use of toast bread and special cheese prepared in the form of thin slices for similar dishes will significantly reduce the time.
