How to make homemade mulberry wine? The recipe for making homemade mulberry wine is quite simple and does not require special knowledge in the field of winemaking.
Even an unprepared person is able to make such a wine.
To make homemade wine, we will need mature mulberry berries. It is recommended to collect mulberries in dry weather, because at this time their color is most saturated.
Berries do not need to be washed, just leave them in any container for a day, and then squeeze all the juice out of them.
To the juice obtained from berries, add sugar and cinnamon at the rate of 150 grams of sugar and 5 grams of cinnamon for each liter of squeezed mulberry juice.
Leave the mixture to ferment for a week, and then filter the juice.
Pour all the juice into the prepared container and add strong white wine at the rate of 1 liter of white wine per 10 liters of our wine.
Defend the resulting mixture for at least two weeks.
Then filter the wine and bottle it.
If desired, you can add more sugar.
Store homemade mulberry wine in closed bottles in a cool place.
For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral to taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste.
