Fresh orange

A good replacement for factory carbonated drinks. My child really liked this fresh, so now I will cook it for the holidays, replacing them with store-bought juices and soda. Making a drink at home is very simple and fast. Homemade citrus fresh is simply necessary in the hot summer!

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the necessary ingredients. For fresh orange juice, you will need three ripe and juicy oranges of medium size, 3-4 sprigs of fresh mint, highly carbonated mineral water. Sugar is added as desired.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash the mint, dry it with paper towels. Tear off the leaves from the twigs and lightly remember them with your hands so that the juice stands out.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Transfer the mint leaves to a pre-prepared jug or an ordinary glass jar. Add sugar. You can not add it, focus on your taste.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Wash the oranges thoroughly, dry them with paper towels and cut them in half.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Squeeze the juice out of each half, removing the bones. It is better to do this with a citrus juicer, manual or electric. If you do not have such a technique, peel the citrus fruits, remove the seeds and veins, send them to the bowl of a blender, chop. In a couple of seconds, you will get a natural juice with pulp.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Pour the squeezed orange juice into a jug.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Add chilled (from the refrigerator) carbonated water to the jug with juice. Mix it up. Let it brew for 5-7 minutes. Now pour fresh into glasses, you can add a couple of ice cubes. Enjoy a refreshing drink!

You can prepare a citrus fresh mix. To do this, take 2-3 oranges, 1 lime and 1 lemon, although in this case I recommend taking more sugar, otherwise the drink will be too sour.

Instead of sugar, you can use a sweetener that is not afraid of heat treatment.
