Cooking method
I have already noticed that all homemade wine recipes are very similar to each other. The manufacturing technology is practically the same, it just changes depending on the initial taste of the raw materials for making wine.
Irga is a berry very similar to currant, with a sickly sweet taste.
So, the process of making wine begins with boiling sugar syrup from water and sugar.
This syrup is brewed for about a quarter of an hour until moderate density.
Then the irgi berries are squeezed until the juice is obtained.
The resulting juice is mixed with sugar syrup and placed in a pre-prepared container (most often a glass bottle or jar is used).
The bottle with juice is closed with a water shutter.
When the mixture gets a light shade, pour it into another bottle or jar.
The wine from irga will be fully ready only in three months.
After that, you can bottle the drink and store it in a cool place.
The wine turns red with a purple tinge. It has a tart taste and a very pleasant aroma.
