Perhaps the most unusual culinary recipe for such a drink as kvass is banana kvass. I don't do it very often, but it always goes "with a bang" during children's holidays with a wide variety of food. Now I will share with you the method of its preparation. So, we start by taking 2-3 kilograms of very soft, overripe bananas, peel them, cut them into small pieces. Now we heat 5 liters of water, then remove it from the fire and dissolve 20-30 grams of yeast in water. After that, we pour our prepared bananas into yeast water, cover the container and put it in a warm, dark place for one knock. After this time, we open the container, remove the foam from the surface of the kvass, if desired, and carefully decant the liquid into clean bottles or cans. It is better to repeat the filtering procedure a couple of times. After that, we seal our containers well so that the drink does not disappear, and we put it in a cold place for about 1-2 days. When this time has passed, banana kvass can be consumed. Bon appetit!
