Viburnum is known for its medicinal properties. Vodka with viburnum is used for symptoms of colds, high blood pressure and insomnia.
The recipe for vodka with viburnum is quite simple.
Viburnum berries are carefully sorted, placed in a colander or sieve and washed. Then the viburnum should be dried, for which I just put it on a dry, clean towel.
To prepare vodka with viburnum, we will need a clean, dry bottle with a volume of two liters.
Fill the berries in a container for half and fill them with vodka.
We close the bottle tightly and leave it to infuse for a day.
Then pour the remains of vodka into the bottle and insist it tightly corked for a month.
As a medicinal product, vodka from viburnum is used 2-3 tablespoons a day.
If you want to prepare not a medicine, but an alcoholic drink, then the recipe is slightly modified.
The bottle is filled with 2/3 berries, 2 tablespoons of honey are added and the whole mixture is filled with vodka up to the neck.
This vodka is infused from viburnum for two weeks.
The drink turns out to be moderately sweet.
