Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make melted milk in a slow cooker? It's very simple, the main thing is that the milk for cooking is natural and the fatter it is, the tastier the milk will turn out. You can take cow's, goat's or any other. Even store-bought, the main thing is not powdered and with the highest fat content that you can find. The main thing is that you are completely confident in its quality.
Step 2:
Pour milk into the bowl of the slow cooker. Milk can be of any temperature, but the warmer the milk, the less time it will take to prepare before languishing.
Step 3:
So that the milk does not run away during cooking, put a steamed cooking bowl on top. If there is no such bowl, lubricate the walls of the bowl with butter just above the milk level. This will keep the milk below this mark.
Step 4:
My slow cooker has a Multi-cooker function, so I set the temperature to 98 degrees and cook milk for four hours under a closed lid. If you want milk with a more pronounced taste and color, increase the time to six hours. If there is no such function, cook the milk in the "Quenching" mode for 4 hours. It can also be done in the program "Milk porridge".
Step 5:
This is how it turns out after cooking, it smells great and has a beautiful color. A film is formed on top, which is removed after cooling, and the milk is poured into another container and stored in the refrigerator. You can make an excellent ryazhenka from it or add it to coffee and sweet black tea. And also cook porridge or milk noodles based on it.
Step 6:
Bon appetit.
Keep in mind that the cooking time and mode are indicated approximately in the recipe. All slow cookers work differently and even the same models of the same manufacturer may have their own characteristics. Before you start cooking a new dish for you in a slow cooker, carefully study the instructions for it, and then in practice try to cook dishes that are familiar to you first, and then new ones, choosing the mode and time individually for your own technique.
Of course, the quality of homemade melted milk will depend on what kind of milk you will use. I get cream-colored melted milk with a caramel flavor.
