Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

To cook fried fish in tomato sauce with pineapples, it is advisable to take fish without bones, but any one that you like will do. Before cooking, the fish must be cleaned well, cut off all the fins, wash it, divide into fillets and cut into small portions. Or buy ready-made fillet of hake or any other fish in the store. Add salt, pepper and roll in flour. Fry the fish pieces in vegetable oil until fully cooked.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Before making the sauce, you need to prepare the vegetables. Peel the onion from the husk and wash it well from sand and dirt, if there were any on it. Carrots should also be cleaned and washed well. Fry finely chopped onion in preheated vegetable oil until golden brown, then add carrots grated on a coarse grater to it and fry them together until tender.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

To fried onions and carrots add canned pineapples together with syrup (syrup in which there were canned pineapples). If the pineapples were slices, then add them to the onions and carrots, and if they were rings, then the pineapples should be cut into cubes. And simmer all together for 3-4 minutes . Then add tomato juice to the onion with carrots and pineapples and simmer for the same amount. If necessary, the sauce can be salted to taste.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour a little ready-made sauce on the bottom of the dish and spread warm fried fish on it in one layer. Pour more sauce on top of the fish. So we do it alternately until the fish and sauce run out. The sauce should be either warm or hot, so it's better for the fish to absorb all the juices. Let the dish cool down a little and you can serve it on the table. Perfect for mashed potatoes.
