Cooking method
1. Pour flour and semolina into a bowl, add sugar, orange zest, cinnamon, cloves, pour cognac and olive oil, mix. Add soda to the orange juice, mix, pour to the rest of the ingredients, knead the dough. The dough is not particularly elastic, but you can work with it.
2. We form cookies of a slightly oblong shape from the dough, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
3. Pour sugar into a saucepan, pour water, add honey, send it to the fire, let the ingredients melt completely, cook the resulting syrup for 2-3 minutes.
4. When the finished cookies cool down a little, put it in batches in hot syrup, hold for a minute and transfer it to a paper towel with a slotted spoon. Thus, we impregnate all cookies with honey syrup.
5. Then we serve the delicacy on a platter, sprinkle with chopped nuts and serve it on the table.
