Step 1:
Products for making Tahini paste. Before buying, try sesame seeds, sometimes they taste bitter. This happens when the seeds are not fresh and are stored for a long time. Such seeds are not suitable, as they will hopelessly spoil the taste of pasta.
Step 2:
Put sesame seeds in a dry frying pan.
Step 3:
Stir intensively, fry until golden brown. But not pronounced, but only slightly. You can brown sesame seeds in the oven, stirring occasionally.
Step 4:
Pour the toasted sesame seeds into some container, cool a little.
Step 5:
Pour the toasted (it is toasted they are crushed in a blender much better) seeds into a blender with a bowl. Grind to the consistency shown in the photo.
Step 6:
Gradually adding oil, we grind sesame seeds until a homogeneous paste-like mass is obtained. The paste should have a consistency like thick sour cream. If 2 tablespoons of oil is not enough, pour more, but in small portions. That's all! The tahini paste is ready. The finished paste can be stored in the refrigerator in a tightly closed jar for about two months.
This is a classic recipe for tahini paste, without seasonings and spices. In this form, you can use it to make sauces, sweets. It turns out very tasty if you mix it with honey. By adding spices and seasonings, you will get a new taste of tahini paste.
