Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To prepare mashed potatoes, peel the required amount of potatoes. Rinse it under running water. If the potatoes are large, then cut them in half. Fill it with water and put it to warm up. Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes, until the potatoes are ready. In the process of cooking, add a little salt to the potatoes. The readiness of potatoes can be checked by pricking it with a knife. If it is ready, it easily pierces and jumps off the knife.
Step 2:
Drain the water from the finished potatoes. Add butter to it. Start kneading it and gradually add warm milk.
Step 3:
Mash the potatoes to the desired consistency and stir in the egg.
Step 4:
Simultaneously with cooking potatoes, take care of the chicken. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces, about the same size.
Step 5:
Fry them in a hot frying pan until golden brown.
Step 6:
Peel, wash and finely chop the onion.
Step 7:
Add chopped onion to the fried chicken meat. Mix everything well and fry everything together for a few minutes. Add a little salt to the meat and add a little spice.
Step 8:
Then pour cream into the pan to the meat, add chopped garlic and finely chopped dill. Mix everything well. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 9:
Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. Then sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Step 10:
Put the mashed potatoes up to half of the baking dish. Flatten with a spatula.
Step 11:
Lay out all the chicken filling. Spread evenly over the whole mashed potatoes.
Step 12:
Sprinkle cheese liberally on top, grated on a medium grater. Put the mold in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
Step 13:
Serve the finished dish to the table hot. Enjoy your meal!
