Cooking method
1. How to cook limoncello with vodka? Wash the lemons thoroughly, dry them with a towel and remove the zest. This should be done carefully, capturing only the yellow peel. This is important, since the ingress of a white layer will give the drink a bitterness. Put the removed zest in a glass container.
2. Pour the zest with vodka and leave for two weeks in a warm place. Cover the container with a cloth. It is not necessary that the place be dark, but direct sunlight should also not fall on the future liquor.
3. Time has passed - strain the liquid, trying to squeeze the zest completely.
4. Heat the water, add sugar to it, stir and bring to a boil. After boiling, cook the syrup for a few minutes, then turn off the heat and cool the contents of the pan.
5. The most interesting! Mix both liquids (lemon and sugar syrup), bottle, close tightly and put in a dark place to infuse for a week or two. After that, the liquor can be served on the table.

For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral to taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste.
