Cooking method
This ancient culinary recipe for making wine from grapes was known back in tsarist Russia (that is, it is Russian cuisine). It was used by our grandparents. However, such wine from red grapes requires a special wooden barrel, so unfortunately it is not available for urban residents. However, if you have a barrel and an extra place on the glazed balcony, all is not lost yet, you can start winemaking. So, we will need ripe red grapes and a lot of spices.
All the spices listed in the recipe, previously ground into powder, are placed in a canvas or linen bag, tied. The grapes are washed, separated from the bunches, then squeezed until grape juice is obtained. The resulting juice, together with the cake, is poured into a wooden barrel, at the bottom of which we lower a bag of spices with a weight. We put the barrel in a cool dark place where the wine should ferment well. It will take at least a month. As soon as the cake settles, the wine can be drained. Of course, be sure to filter it, and then bottle it. Any meal with such wine will seem a hundred times tastier.
