For the recipe, you can use a purchased dried rosehip or take berries dried with your own hands. The recipe on how to properly dry rosehip at home in the oven can be found in THIS recipe.

If you brew rosehip in a teapot without a sieve, then it is better to strain the drink through gauze before use in order to avoid seeds and villi from berries getting into the glass.

In the period of colds and diseases, such a drink will come in very handy. Warm, plentiful drink accelerates the healing process. Add honey or raspberries to a glass. Due to the fact that the finished drink is not too hot, all the vitamins from honey or jam will be preserved completely.

Note that rosehip contains a huge amount of ascorbic acid, therefore it has a number of contraindications. People suffering from gastrointestinal diseases and cardiovascular diseases should reduce the use of wild rose fruits to a minimum or completely exclude.

Have a nice tea party!
