Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the products. Vodka should be of high quality, and garlic is better to take juicy, fresh harvest. Mint is added to enhance the flavor /if possible/. They brought it to me later and I added a twig after shooting the recipe.
Step 2:
Peel the garlic, remove the damaged places from the cloves.
Step 3:
Rinse garlic cloves under cool, running water. Do not neglect this procedure, for a good result, the raw materials must be clean.
Step 4:
Then the garlic should be crushed. Of course, it is faster to squeeze through a press, but any tincture will need to be filtered and small particles make it turbid. I prefer to cut thin slices with a knife, garlic will perfectly release the juice and the tincture will be well filtered.
Step 5:
Pour the crushed garlic into a glass jar and pour vodka, mix well.
Step 6:
Vodka should hide garlic completely. To prevent alcohol from evaporating, cover the jar with cellophane, then close the lid tightly. Put it to infuse in a dark place at room temperature for 10 days. After 2-3 days, do not forget to shake.
Step 7:
Strain the infused tincture through several layers of gauze, pour into a bottle and leave in the refrigerator for 4 days. Then take 3 times a day half an hour before meals for 10 drops, adding them to 1 tbsp.l. milk. Tincture is taken as a restorative mixture, cleans blood vessels, improves metabolism. The course is 1 month, then a break of 10 days and repeat the course. Store in the refrigerator.
When used internally, one should remember about contraindications:
Garlic should not be used for acute inflammatory kidney diseases, gastritis and peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum against the background of increased acidity of gastric juice, pancreatitis, hemorrhoids in the acute phase.
Since the tincture contains vodka, it should not be consumed by nursing mothers, pregnant women, young children and drivers of vehicles. This remedy is also contraindicated in epilepsy and mental disorders.
The use of garlic tincture can do more harm than good in the case of liver and gallbladder diseases, as well as cystitis, pyelonephritis and inflammation of the pancreas.
It is impossible to use garlic tincture without milk, so that there is no irritation of the gastrointestinal tract.
Before starting the course, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
