This recipe is a cold drink based on coffee with the addition of ice cream. France is considered to be the birthplace of Glasse, but this is still a controversial issue.

It is ground coffee that is used to prepare the drink, it is better not to replace it with instant coffee. Ginger needs a little, literally one quarter of a teaspoon. But still, it gives the drink a special piquancy and charm. Sugar can be taken to taste, but optimally - a teaspoon, as there will still be ice cream. Regarding ice cream, it tastes better if you take two types: white cream and dark chocolate. Chocolate can still be in chocolate glaze, so it will be even tastier.

1. Peel the ginger root, grate it on a fine grater, leave it on a saucer.

2. Pour water into the turk, pour sugar, send it to the fire. Bring to a boil.

3. Pour ground coffee and ginger gruel into boiling water, remove from the heat without delay. We leave the drink for 5 minutes, during which time it will cool down, and the cake will settle to the bottom.

4. Cut the ice cream into pieces. So it will be easier to distribute it in portions.

5. Pour the cooled coffee into glasses, add pieces of ice cream and serve on the table. Traditionally, iced Glasse coffee is served with a straw.

If desired, grated chocolate, candy chips, coconut chips, ground cinnamon, nuts or cocoa powder can be used as additional ingredients. Each of the above ingredients can give a new flavor and decorate the drink.
