Watermelon is not just a low-calorie summer favorite. It contains important amino acids that help maintain arterial health. In addition, the substances contained in this large berry prolong the life of the human body and protect it from age-related damage. Some of them have an anti-cancer effect, and carotene strengthens vision.
The watermelon cocktail offered in the recipe is very refreshing, great for summer therapy of chronic kidney diseases. The drink is also rich in vitamin C.
You will need beetroot for cooking. It's good if the vegetable is young. Strawberries can be taken frozen. Instead of coconut water, you can use coconut milk. But such a drink will be more caloric. It is better to buy watermelons at a proven outlet or directly from the field. It is better not to use the first early watermelons at all. This applies not only to smoothies, but to eating in general. Usually such fruits are record holders in terms of nitrate content.
1. Peel the watermelon. We extract all the bones from the pulp. Cut into cubes.
2. Strawberries are washed, we remove the stems.
3. Peel the beets. We cut a small piece for a smoothie. Cut it into cubes.
4. We put strawberries, beets and watermelon in a blender bowl. Pour coconut water.
5. Beat at minimum power until smooth.
Pour smoothies into glasses, decorate to taste. You can decorate with a mint leaf.
Serve on the table with a smoothie tube.
