Cooking method
A drink made from barley and rye is rich in many useful substances, therefore the spectrum of its beneficial effect on the body is very extensive:
- the drink quickly restores strength, as it contains a lot of protein and carbohydrates;
- calms the nervous system, improves sleep, has a positive effect on the heart and blood vessels;
- helps in the complex treatment of the liver and kidneys, has a pronounced choleretic effect, normalizes the intestinal microflora.
Due to the above-described beneficial properties, the drink can be drunk by people suffering from chronic diseases, as well as by everyone for prevention. If desired, you can drink up to 4 cups of this drink per day.
1. Pour rye and barley into a bowl, pour cold water, wash. Then we drain the dirty water. Thus, my cereals a couple of times, until clean water.
2. Fill the clean ingredients with cold water again, leave to infuse for a day. After the specified time, the water is drained, and the grains are put in a saucepan and filled with clean filtered water.
3. We send the saucepan to the fire and bring it to a boil. As soon as the grains begin to burst, remove the saucepan from the fire, drain the water. We put the barley and rye on a paper towel, dry it.
4. The prepared cereals are fried in a cast-iron frying pan for 2 minutes. In the process, stir. The frying pan must be absolutely dry, without a drop of oil.
5. Then the grains are ground into powder using a coffee grinder. We store the mixture in a dry place in an airtight container.
6. Pour one tablespoon of powder into a saucepan, fill with hot water. We send the saucepan to the fire, boil the drink for two minutes. Then remove the saucepan from the fire, cover with a lid. Insist 2-3 minutes.
