Cooking method
There is a legend that the recipe for this mixture was found in the 70s in Tibet in a monastery. The recipe for Tibetan balsam was inscribed on an ancient clay tablet more than a thousand years old. Whether this is true or not is unknown, but nevertheless the recipe exists, and modern scientists have proven its effectiveness. There are also a number of contraindications and possible side effects, which should not be forgotten when drinking a drink.
A mixture of herbs can be bought at a pharmacy or on the market, but it is best to prepare the components of the balm yourself. In this case, it will be possible to be sure that the herbs were collected in an ecologically clean area, away from highways and large industries. Often other components are included in the composition, for example, fox strawberries or lemon balm, but it is the classic version of the Tibetan mixture that consists of St. John's wort, immortelle, chamomile and birch buds.
The collected herbs are dried and then crushed. Such a mixture is stored without loss of its properties in a hermetically sealed container for quite a long time - up to a year.
To prepare the "elixir of youth", you need to put the specified amount of herbs in a glass jar, then pour boiling water over them. Leave the balm to infuse for 10 hours. It is convenient to do this at night, getting a ready drink in the morning.
Before use, the balm is heated to a temperature of 45 degrees, a spoonful of fragrant homemade honey is added to it at the rate of 1 teaspoon per glass of balm. That's all - you can enjoy the delicate taste of the drink with health benefits! Honey gives the drink sweetness and softens the bitter taste of chamomile.
It is customary to drink 100 ml balm three times a day half an hour before meals. There are other schemes, for example, drinking a glass at night is considered effective, and then in the morning drinking another glass on an empty stomach - 20-25 minutes before meals.
You can't drink the drink all the time. It is necessary to take breaks. The recommended course is two months during the year. And of course, a specialist's consultation is desirable.
Good health and longevity!
